Firetail Resources (ASX:FTL) awarded Abitibi Geophysics contracts for geophysical surveys at the Skyline project in Canada, with work expected to start this month, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The contracts involve a 3D induced polarization and high-resolution magnetic survey to identify drill targets with potential for large-scale volcanogenic massive sulfide discoveries, the filing said.

Shares fell past 5% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
