South Korea's National Pension Service (NPS) increased its stakes in internet conglomerate Naver (KRX:035420) and retail giant E-Mart (KRX:139480) during the first quarter of 2025, raising its ownership to 9.24% and 12.25%, respectively.
The fund bought over 1.27 million Naver shares and 624,000 E-mart shares, Pulse News reported last week.
Meanwhile, the NPS offloaded 829,647 shares of Jeju Air (KRX:089590), reducing its stake in the low-cost carrier. The institutional investor also lowered its holdings of Jin Air (KRX:272450), although the report did not disclose details of the same.
Shares of Naver and E-Mart fell 3% while those of Jeju Air declined nearly 4% and Jin Air fell over 5% on Monday.
