Volt Resources (ASX:VRC) said successful gold exploration could lead to potential value creation for shareholders as gold prices jump to a record high, providing an incentive for the firm to restart gold exploration activities, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The firm is reviewing the results of the previous sampling and auger drilling programs conducted on its gold projects in Guinea, Kouroussa project, Mandiana project, and Konsolon project, to plan the next stage of gold exploration activities.
Its auger drilling campaign identified four drilling targets by extending the known gold anomalous areas at the Kouroussa prospect, identifying two major gold anomalies in the Konsolon prospect, and a large gold anomaly within the Nzima prospect.
