Lode Resources (ASX:LDR) began a drilling program of 50 to 60 drill holes and 8,000 meters to 10,000 meters in depth at the Montezuma antimony project in Tasmania, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The program aims to test for extensions of the project's silver-antimony mineralization, both down dip and along strike. The firm had completed surface mapping, grab sampling, development face sampling, and core sampling from a previous 12-hole drill program before the current program began.
Its shares jumped 11% in recent trading on Thursday.
