Trinity Capital (TRIN) said it funded roughly $220 million of investments and originated $186 million in new commitments during Q1.
The alternative asset manager said it invested $148 million in secured loans, $71 million in equipment financings, and $1 million in equity and warrant investments during the quarter. Of the $220 million funded, $95 million went to six new portfolio companies and $125 million to 19 existing companies, Trinity said.
Repayments and investment exits totaled $157 million, including $78 million from scheduled debt payments, $44 million from early repayments, and $35 million from sales of investments, the company said.
Trinity said it plans to report Q1 results on May 7.
