Simonds Group (ASX:SIO) said its Chief Executive Officer David McKeown has stepped down, with immediate effect, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

Rhett Simonds was appointed CEO while retaining his role as Executive Chair, the filing said.

Simonds joined the Company in 2005 and was its CEO between February 2020 and November 2023.

The company's shares fell 3% in recent Friday trade.
