SmartRent (SMRT) said Thursday that Shane Paladin stepped down as president and chief executive officer at the request of its board, effective immediately.
The company also said that on a preliminary basis, it expects Q1 revenue of $40.5 million to $41.5 million, down 18% to 20% compared with a year earlier. Two analysts polled by FactSet are expecting $40.1 million.
Shares slumped 28% as intraday trading volume rose to over 3.4 million versus a daily average of about 1.6 million.
Marin Software (MRIN) said Thursday that it has approved a plan of dissolution and liquidation subject to shareholders' nod.
Shares sank 55% following an increase in intraday trading volume to over 411,000 from a daily average of about 20,000.
AES (AES) shares dropped 7% after Jefferies downgraded the stock to hold from buy and cut its price target to $10 from $15.
More than 9.9 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 15.7 million.
