Chinasoft International (HKG:0354) and associate Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development jointly rolled out China's first distributed heterogeneous multi-robot collaborative operating system.
The OS is based on OpenHarmony- M-Robots OS 1.0, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
OpenHarmony- M-Robots is built to allow collaboration among heterogeneous or swarm robots, helping unify the operating systems used for the robotics industry.
The new OS also has built-in artificial intelligence capability and has low-latency transitions between tasks.
Shares increased 2% during Thursday's late morning trading.
