Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) said that its wholly-owned US unit, Visage Imaging, signed a multi-year research collaboration agreement with the University of California San Francisco as a framework for collaboration to facilitate the development and commercialization leveraging the Visage AI Accelerator platform, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The agreement has the potential to develop artificial intelligence products to meet clinical goals and ultimately lead to better patient outcomes, Malte Westerhoff, Visage Imaging's global chief technology officer, said.
The research collaboration builds on the existing UCSF Visage 7 Viewer agreement.
Pro Medicus' shares fell past 1% in recent trading on Tuesday.
