Titomic (ASX:TTT) joined forces with Northrop Grumman to develop and manufacture high-performance pressure vessels, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

The collaboration is an initial concept development study inclusive of part production for testing to improve the performance and durability of critical pressure vessels, as well as to significantly reduce the production schedule.

Titomic's proprietary cold spray technology will enhance material properties, reduce lead times, and enable complex geometries crucial for the aerospace and defense sectors for pressure vessels, per the filing.

Titomic's shares jumped 10% in recent trading on Tuesday.
