Consumer stocks leaned lower premarket Tuesday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) slightly declined and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) recently fell by 0.4%.
Albertsons (ACI) shares were down more than 7% after the company reported a decline in fiscal Q4 adjusted net income. The company also issued fiscal 2025 adjusted earnings per share guidance below analysts' expectations.
Funko (FNKO) said its first Southeast Asian Funko-licensed store will open in the Philippines in June. Shares of Funko were 4% lower pre-bell.
Skillsoft (SKIL) shares were up over 2% after the company reported an increase in fiscal Q4 adjusted net income.
