Amentum Holdings (AMTM) said Monday that it won a $247.6 million contract from the US Department of Defense Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Counternarcotics and Global Threats Division to deliver solutions to the DOD in the counter-transnational organized crime, counter-drug and counter-terrorism missions.

Under the contract, the company will use AI/machine learning-enabled tools and advanced analytical techniques to enable the DOD and partner agencies to fight finance systems and networks that negatively affect US interests.

The contract spans 96 months, with an additional four-month transition period.
