Russia has asked the US to allow its purchase of Boeing (BA) aircraft using funds from frozen state assets once it reaches a ceasefire in Ukraine, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing an unnamed source in Moscow.

The source told Bloomberg that the Russian government understands that the frozen assets can't be used without a ceasefire.

Representatives from Boeing, Russia, and the US government did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
