Osaka Organic Chemical Industry (TYO:4187) signed a basic agreement with Shin-Nakamura Chemical to establish a joint venture in the US, according to a Friday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The move is part of Osaka Organic's medium-term plan to expand overseas sales under its "Progress & Development 2030" strategy. The joint venture, expected to be formed in the second half of 2025, will strengthen the companies' sales efforts in the US market.
Shin-Nakamura Chemical, based in Wakayama, holds a 0.19% stake in Osaka Organic.
