2. Indonesian University IPB Ready to Welcome Students from Gaza 

The Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) has declared its readiness to accept residents of Gaza, Palestine, as students. This initiative follows President Prabowo Subianto's commitment to temporarily evacuate 1,000 individuals from Gaza to Indonesia.

The Rector of IPB University, Arif Satria, stated that this step represents the university's contribution to supporting the development of human resources in Palestine. Arif affirmed the university's readiness to accommodate Gazan residents who wish to pursue their education at IPB.

3. Bapanas Explains Prabowo's Move to Scrap Import Quotas 

The Head of the National Food Agency (Bapanas), Arief Prasetyo Adi, has revealed the reasons behind President Prabowo Subianto's directive to eliminate import quotas on essential commodities. According to him, this instruction is intended to ensure fair and stable prices for the public.

"So that the prices are fair for the public. I said that when it comes to this matter, the President is very concerned about ensuring fair prices. Prices are fair when there is fairness," Arief told Tempo on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
