April 22 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening down on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.21%.

* SHELL: Shell SHEL.L plans to complete a marine survey at Venezuela's offshore Dragon gas field before a U.S.-set May deadline to wind down all licenses in the country, sources said.

* UNILEVER: Unilever ULVR.L is threatening to halt funding to the non-profit, Ben & Jerry’s Foundation, sources familiar with the matter said.

* FERREXPO: Ferrexpo FXPO.L said on Thursday that Ukrainian tax authorities have decided to suspend the refund of value-added tax worth 456.6 million hryvnias ($11 million) for February to two of its Ukrainian units.

* GSK: GSK GSK.L said on Thursday two combination therapies with its cancer drug, Blenrep, have received approval from British authorities.

* RIO TINTO: The White House on Friday said it will fast-track permitting for 10 mining projects across the United States, including a proposed Arizona mine from Rio Tinto RIO.L, RIO.AX .

* OIL: Oil prices climbed in early trade on Tuesday as investors took advantage of the previous day's losses to cover short positions, although concerns persisted over economic headwinds from tariffs and U.S. monetary policy.

* GOLD: Gold prices continued their record rally on Tuesday, with concerns over Trump's criticism of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell dampening risk sentiment.

* METALS: Copper prices in London hit a more than two-week high on Tuesday, tracking a sharp fall in the dollar.

* The UK blue-chip index .FTSE posted its biggest weekly gain since October 2022 on Thursday, although it was little moved on the day.
