Kyndryl Holdings (KD) said Thursday it launched new data security services using Microsoft's (MSFT) Purview to help customers manage sensitive information and reduce risk across hybrid IT environments.

The offering, part of Kyndryl Consult, combines Kyndryl's advisory services with Microsoft's security tools to support data discovery, classification, and protection, the company said.

Kyndryl said the collaboration expands its partnership with Microsoft, which began in 2021.

Shares of Kyndryl were up 1.1% in recent Thursday trading, while Microsoft stock gained 1.8%.
