Fortescue (ASX:FMG) partnered with Bocimar, a unit of CMB.TECH, to charter a new ammonia-powered vessel, the company said in a statement on April 17.
The Newcastlemax vessel, expected to be delivered by the end of next year, will transport iron ore from Western Australia to customers in China and globally, the statement said.
