Bass Oil (ASX:BAS) is in ongoing discussions with petroleum products company Pertamina EP to secure a drilling rig slot for its Bunian 6 development well in Indonesia's Tangai-Sukananti oilfields, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The drilling of the well has been delayed due to availability issues with drilling rigs, the filing said.
The company expects to lock in a spud date as soon as possible, the filing added.
Shares of the company rose past 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
