QBE Insurance Group (ASX:QBE) will resell its $500 million and $400 million perpetual fixed-rate resetting capital notes on May 12 and May 16, respectively, according to separate April 17 filings with the Australian bourse.
The company plans to buy back and cancel the notes immediately following the resale, subject to necessary conditions, the filings said.
The resale and proposed buyback have been approved by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.
