Hillgrove Resources (ASX:HGO) uncovered new ore sources amid a diamond drilling program at Valentines Pit within the Kanmantoo copper mine in South Australia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results include an intersection of 2.3 meters grading about 1% copper and 0.2 grams per tonne grade of gold from a depth of 375.7 meters.
A third underground diamond drill rig has been deployed to continue resource expansion drilling, per the filing. The mineral explorer is targeting a total of 60,000 meters of diamond drilling this year.
