BlockBeats News, April 23rd, Warren Buffett has now nearly swallowed 5% of the entire U.S. Treasury market, locking in $300.87 billion worth of short-term U.S. Treasury bills through Berkshire Hathaway. This conclusion is drawn from the data disclosed in the company's latest financial disclosure.

This large amount of Treasury bonds has given Buffett control of 4.89% of the entire U.S. Treasury market. As of the end of March 2025, the total size of the U.S. Treasury market was $61.5 trillion, meaning that for every $20 of Treasury bonds in circulation, $1 belongs to him.

This report comes from Berkshire Hathaway's filings, demonstrating Buffett's steadfast position in security and liquidity. According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury's "Monthly Treasury Statement of Public Debt," as of the end of March, the entire U.S. Treasury market was $61.5 trillion, which is the basis for calculating the 4.89% share.

Currently, Buffett's holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds even exceed those of the Federal Reserve, with the U.S. central bank holding just over $1.95 trillion in Treasury bonds. (Jinse)
