China Communications Construction's (HKG:1800, SHA:601800) value of new contracts in the first quarter rose by 9% year over year to a little over 553 billion yuan, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Of this, the infrastructure construction, infrastructure design, dredging, and other business segments logged new contract values of 493.5 billion yuan, 15.5 billion yuan, 41 billion yuan, and 3 billion yuan, respectively.
The value of new contracts of all businesses from overseas markets stood at 106.9 billion yuan in the three months, up 17% from a year prior, according to the infrastructure construction firm.
