Lockton confirms hire of AJG's Poulsson as international marine lead

April 24 - (The Insurer) - Lockton confirmed on Thursday that Bård Poulsson will join the company as international marine lead.

The Insurer reported on Wednesday that Poulsson had resigned as divisional director for the Middle East and Africa at Arthur J Gallagher and was set to join Lockton's team in Norway.

Lockton said Poulsson will be based in Oslo and will begin his role on September 1, 2025, with a focus on strengthening its global marine operations in the Nordic region and internationally.

Poulsson has more than 31 years of marine insurance experience, including four years as Middle East marine regional practice leader at Willis and 15 years at Marsh.
