South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Choi Sang-mok will visit Washington from April 23-25 to attend the Korea-U.S. "2+2 Trade Consultation," the G20 Finance Ministers' Meeting, and the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee session.
Choi will also meet with top officials from China, Germany, the EU, the World Bank, and Moody's, the Ministry of Economy and Finance said Monday.
At the April 24 trade talks, Choi and Industry Minister Ahn Duk-geun will meet US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. The G20 sessions will address global financial stability, multilateral bank reforms, and Africa's development challenges, according to the release.
