Franklin Covey named Jessica Betjemann its next chief financial officer, succeeding Stephen Young who plans to retire after 24 years.

She will start on May 1, the leadership-development company said Monday.

Betjemann was most recently CFO at in-flight connectivity services provider Gogo. She joined Gogo in 2016 and, before that, led strategic business planning at Nokia.

Young will continue to serve as a senior adviser and receive his existing salary through the end of August. He became CFO in 2002 after joining the company as chief accounting officer a year before. He worked for three years beyond his planned retirement date to help oversee the succession process, the company said.

Franklin Covey also named A. Derek Hatch as chief accounting officer, controller and treasurer. Hatch joined the company in 1996 and has already been serving as controller and treasurer.
