Embraer (ERJ) said late Tuesday that its backlog for Q1 rose to $26.4 billion from $26.3 billion the previous quarter and $21.1 billion a year earlier.
The Brazilian airplane manufacturer said the backlog is the highest in the company's history, exceeding its previous record set in Q4.
The backlog for Embraer's executive jets had the sharpest quarter-on-quarter increase among its segments, recording $7.6 billion in Q1 from $7.4 billion in Q4, while the backlog for defense and security aviation showed the largest year-on-year increase, advancing to $4.2 billion from $2.4 billion a year earlier.
