0621 GMT - Nestle's better-than-expected first-quarter sales growth mainly came from higher prices in the chocolate and confectionery and coffee businesses, RBC Capital Markets analysts James Edwardes Jones and Wassachon Udomsilpa say in a research note. Growth came in higher than expectations across regions, the analysts say, noting that the North America performance was supported by a reduction of share losses in frozen foods and coffee creamers. Confectionery and coffee delivered the strongest organic growth, at 8.9% and 5.1% respectively. Meanwhile, there are signs of softer market growth for PetCare and Health Science, they add.
