BlockBeats News, April 30, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin published a post revealing his personal focus areas for 2025:
· Ethereum, in particular:
(i) L1 Long-term Roadmap (e.g., single-slot finality, long-term virtual machine, statelessness, security/resilience/decentralization)
(ii) Full-stack security, open source, and privacy: Ensuring Ethereum is used in a highly secure, decentralized, privacy-friendly manner, including at higher layers (applications, wallets, etc.)
· Big-Picture d/acc
· Communication tools, information and social layer, mechanism design, such as governance, public goods/open-source funding
· Cryptography, operating systems, hardware, physical infrastructure, bio defense
