Kyudenko Corp. (TYO:1959) has resolved to change the company's name to Kraftia Corp., pending approval of a related amendment to its Articles of Incorporation at the 97th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in late June, according to a Monday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The name change reflects the company's growth and diversification beyond electrical work into HVAC, plumbing, energy, and urban development, along with expanded geographic coverage.
The new name will take effect Oct.1.
