LG Chem's (KRX:051910) Indian subsidiary, LG Polymers, established the LG India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Foundation in Visakhapatnam to enhance local social responsibility efforts.
The LG India CSR Foundation, approved by India's Ministry of Corporate Affairs, will support sustainable community development, healthcare, and welfare near the plant, LG Chem said in a Monday release.
Shares of the South Korean chemicals manufacturer declined 3% in recent trade on Wednesday, April 30.
