CIMC Enric's (HKG:3899) revenue increased 24% to 5.77 billion yuan in the first quarter from 4.64 billion yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Its clean energy segment saw revenue surge 33% to 4.34 billion yuan from 3.26 billion yuan a year earlier.
Newly signed orders, however, slipped to 4.57 billion yuan from 7.48 billion yuan a year prior.
Backlogs increased to 28.3 billion yuan from 26.9 billion yuan in the year-ago period.
