Delta Air Lines (DAL) said Tuesday it will raise pay by 4% for eligible employees, marking the fourth consecutive year the airline has increased compensation.
CEO Edward Bastian first outlined the raise in January at a leadership conference, citing strong travel demand and what he called Delta's strongest financial year.
Employees also received a $1.4 billion profit-sharing payout on Feb. 14, equivalent to about five weeks of extra pay based on 2024 earnings.
The airline said compensation for its largest frontline workgroups has now risen about 25% since 2022.
