Weichai Power (SHE:000338, HKG:2338) posted first-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.71 billion yuan, up 4.3% from 2.60 billion yuan the previous year.
Earnings per share rose to 0.31 yuan from 0.30 yuan, according to a filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The diesel engine manufacturer's revenue was up 1.9% year over year to 57.5 billion yuan from 56.4 billion yuan.
Shares of Weichai Power were down 1% in the Shanghai bourse, but rose 1% on the Hong Kong bourse.
