China International Capital or CICC (SHA:601995, HKG:3908) recorded a 65% rise in attributable profit in the first quarter to 2.04 billion yuan from 1.24 billion yuan a year prior.
Basic EPS stood at 0.382 yuan, up from 0.223 yuan in the year-ago period, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The firm's operating revenue rose 48% year over year to 5.72 billion yuan from 3.87 billion yuan.
The investment management and financial services company attributed the higher profit mainly to an increase in profit margin.
