1548 ET - Not so fast, says the UPS union's leader, regarding the delivery company's plans to cut 20,000 jobs as part of its breakup with Amazon. Teamsters General President Sean O'Brien says under its latest contract, UPS is required to create 30,000 new union jobs. "If UPS wants to continue to downsize corporate management, the Teamsters won't stand in its way," O'Brien says. "But if the company intends to violate our contract or makes any attempt to go after hard-fought, good-paying Teamsters jobs, UPS will be in for a hell of a fight." UPS stock down 0.5% to $96.53.
