1018 ET - McDonald's wants more of its share of the growing beverage market, including coffee and energy drinks. The chain introduced a CosMc's spinoff concept to experiment with beverages, but plans to incorporate more of those offerings into its McDonald's restaurants. The company had feared the beverages would be too complex for McDonald's core restaurants, but fewer customers customized them than anticipated.
