TWFG buys Paul Mears in North Carolina and Denise Davis Insurance in Texas

May 1 - (The Insurer) - Texas-based insurance agency TWFG has acquired Paul Mears Insurance Group in North Carolina and Denise Davis Insurance in Texas, bringing owner Denise Davis aboard as vice president of retail operations at TWFG.

The financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Paul Mears joined TWFG on Thursday. It has 16 employees in three locations in Valdese, North Wilkesboro and Morgantown, North Carolina, expanding the number of TWFG Insurance locations in the state to nine.

Paul Mears, Kelly Bowers-Messenheimer and Adam Mears will continue to lead the agency and focus on growth.

Denise Davis Insurance joined TWFG on April 1 and converted into a TWFG corporate branch after nearly 23 years as an independent TWFG branch.
