ING Groep (ING) reported Q1 earnings Friday of 0.47 euros ($0.53) per share, down from 0.48 euros a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by FactSet expected 0.46 euros.
Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, expressed as total income, was 5.64 billion euros, compared with 5.58 billion euros a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected 5.62 billion euros.
The company said it expects 2025 total income to be "roughly the same level" as 2024. Analysts polled by FactSet expect 22.33 billion euros.
ING also revealed a new share buyback program of 2 billion euros.
ING Groep shares were up over 5% in recent premarket activity Friday.
