Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) bought back 260,000 shares from the London Stock Exchange at an average price of 8.0879 pounds sterling apiece on Thursday, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Friday.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares. Following the buyback, the firm will have 2,606,117,215 shares in issue.
