May 1 - (The Insurer) - Holmes Murphy's MGA platform Innovative Program Solutions has partnered with Liberty Mutual to launch an all-lines program for tunnel car wash operators, focused on driving down the total cost of car wash risks.

Features of the program include comprehensive risk and safety support, consultative expertise and policy administration.

"Those who take advantage of the program will have access to loss control resources that are designed to identify risks and reduce exposures; a team of professionals with deep industry knowledge who will offer proactive, consultative advice on insurance and risk management strategies; and efficient handling of policy life cycle processes," said Tim Anders, president of IPS.

"The pricing approach will reflect the program benefit of risk control and loss reduction. As the program exhibits better-than-average loss activity, pricing will trend favorably, reflecting the positive performance and reduced risk."

Additionally, clients will have access to Liberty Mutual's claims services and proprietary underwriting platform.

"The program is structured to address the unique needs of automated carwash operations, focused on targeted exposures, loss control, and risk management for operators," said Zach Walton, vice president and division underwriting manager of Liberty Mutual Programs.

He added that Holmes Murphy is a "significant partner of Liberty's in multiple profit centers".

In March, IPS entered into a new capacity partnership with SiriusPoint for a captives-focused umbrella excess insurance product, Program Manager reported.

Holmes Murphy launched IPS in May 2024. The platform is led by programs and MGA market veteran Anders, who has held roles at Atlantic Mutual, The Hartford, Zurich, GuideOne, Breckenridge and Ryan Specialty over his 35 years in the industry.
