nVent Electric plc has completed its acquisition of the Electrical Products Group business from Avail Infrastructure Solutions for $975 million. This transaction, funded by cash on hand, enhances nVent's position in the infrastructure sector, particularly in power utilities, data centers, and renewables. The acquisition complements nVent's existing offerings and capabilities, further strengthening its control buildings platform. The Electrical Products Group, a key provider of electrical infrastructure solutions in North America, operates with approximately 1,100 employees and nine manufacturing locations in the U.S. nVent plans to integrate this business predominantly within its Systems Protection segment.
