Health care stocks were declining pre-bell Thursday, with The Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) down 0.9% and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) 0.7% lower.

Takeda Pharmaceutical (TAK) shares were down more than 0.5% after the company reported lower fiscal Q4 core earnings.
