0703 GMT - Chinese stimulus and developments on trade talks with U.S. policymakers are welcome for the Chinese market, says David Chao, global market strategist at Invesco. Markets have been awaiting monetary stimulus since the start of this year to boost credit growth and counter external uncertainty, Chao adds. The PBOC's rate cuts are likely to satisfy market demand for stimulus, at least for a while, he says. The stimulus measures rolled out Wednesday are similar to those announced last September, signaling that Chinese policymakers are still committed to prioritizing economic growth, Chao adds.
