MarketAxess (MKTX) reported Tuesday an average daily volume of $57.4 billion in April, up 68% from a year earlier and about 24% higher than in March.
The company also reported total rates average daily volume of $39.1 billion in April, an increase of about 93% from a year earlier, and 36% higher than in the previous month.
