Ark Mines (ASX:AHK) said recent rock chip sampling shows potential to extend the target area at its Pluton gold project in North Queensland, Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The samplings showed a maximum of 25 grams per tonne gold and an average of 3.4 g/t gold, along with a maximum of 34 g/t silver and an average of 7.1 g/t silver.
The company's shares rose 9% in recent Wednesday trade.
