Westpac CEO Anthony Miller claims the “worst” is behind Australia, which is encouraging, but it does not “diminish” a challenging marketplace in the country.
“It has been a difficult couple of years … as I sit here today and I look at the performance of the bank,” Mr Millter said.
“It would appear to be the worst is behind us, so that is encouraging.”
