AMETEK to Acquire FARO Technologies for $920 million in cash

May 6 (Reuters) - AMETEK AME.N will acquire FARO Technologies FARO.O for $44 per share in cash, the two companies said on Tuesday.

The transaction values FARO at an enterprise value of approximately $920 million.
