Jacobs Solutions Inc. has been awarded a contract by the City of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, to upgrade the city's water infrastructure in response to anticipated population growth. The project involves enhancing the Rockland Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Caron Booster Station (CBS) to ensure reliable water service for the expanding city and its neighboring municipalities. Jacobs will also undertake the design of twinning over 11 kilometers of water transmission mains to boost system reliability and capacity. This initiative is crucial as Clarence-Rockland expects to add 9,000 new residents by 2046, and surrounding areas are also projected to experience significant population growth. Jacobs has a longstanding relationship with the city, having contributed to previous expansions and upgrades over the last two decades.
