BlockBeats News, May 8th, SlowMist announced that the ransomware LockBit was attacked by hackers. Its "onion" website was breached — the attackers took over the admin panel and leaked a bundled file containing the database. The exposed information includes:
Bitcoin address and private key
Internal chat records
Affiliated company information
The attackers left a message: "Do not commit crimes, crime is bad, xoxo from Prague."
LockBit, one of the most active RaaS (Ransomware as a Service) groups since 2019, is known for its technical complexity, automation, and efficient ransom strategy. It is estimated to have made ransom profits exceeding $150 million and has been labeled as an APT (Advanced Persistent Threat) by multiple national security agencies.
